What is Endocannabinoid System

The endocannabinoid system was not discovered by scientists until the mid-1990’s. Since then it has been determined that the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) plays an integral role in our overall well-being, by helping to regulate the communication between cells in our central nervous system and those throughout our body to maintain balance and well-being.

Research surrounding hemp suggests that the phytocompounds and phytonutrients in hemp may interact with the endocannabinoid system balance.

These phytocompounds and phytonutrients like terpenes, flavinoids, and chlorophyll found in hemp are abundant in plants, vegetables, beans and grains. Although scientists have uncovered thousands of phytonurients, they have thoroughly examined only a small portion of them.

It is an exciting time to be discovering the amazing benefits of the hemp plant on human wellness.
